Never give up. give in. stop trying. stop believing.

Who We Are

Let us introduce first what Maai is meant for. Our main objective is not only to help orphans and street children but also to bring happiness on their faces and to try and ensure systems by which all children can go to school.

We are giving main emphasis on Education for children because we know education is the most powerful catalyst for social transformation. But child education cannot be done in isolation. A child will go to school only if the family, particularly the mother, is assured of healthcare and empowered. Moreover, when an elder sibling is relevantly skilled to be employable and begins earning, the journey of empowerment continues beyond the present generation.

Realizing this, Maai, beginning in the corridors of education, adopted a lifecycle approach of development, focusing its interventions on children, their families.

Today, millions of children in India are out of school . surrounded by poverty, illness and despair; they are fighting a daily battle for their survival. Together, we can bring hope in their lives. Together, we can bring change and make it last. This is our first step towards achieving their dreams. Currently we support 20 children, between age of 3 to 9 years. We all together can help more children.

We steers children towards a better life with better awareness, better life skills and better life opportunities , in the journey from childhood to livelihood. We work to make sure children grow up well so that livelihood options open up by the time they are adults.

One of the elements that makes this foundation unique , however, is the way it goes about its global outreach. We believe that unless and until we are involved proactively in process of development, sustainable change will not happen. Together, we can bring change and smile on their face. Please take a little time for us to go through this website. We would love to hear from you if you have any questions.
